FundedNext runs several programmes side by side — Evaluation, Express, Stellar 1-Step, Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite. The tables below compare the two that line up with FundedCore's own models: Stellar 2-Step against FundedCore PRO 2.0, and Stellar 1-Step against FundedCore PRO.

Every FundedNext figure on this page comes from its published CFD Challenge Terms and its own help centre, read on 20 August 2026. Where FundedNext does not publish a number, this page says so rather than guessing.

What the differences actually mean

Drawdown type is the biggest one. FundedNext fixes both of its loss limits to the initial account size — its terms require that the account "must not drop below 90% of its initial balance" on Stellar 2-Step — so, like FundedCore, nothing trails your equity high. Its two-step allows 10% total against FundedCore’s 8%, and its one-step is 6%, the same as ours. A trailing drawdown raises your stop-out level as you profit, so the room you started with is the room you keep; a static drawdown does not move, which means a good month permanently increases your buffer.

Targets and drawdown only mean something together. A lower profit target paired with a tighter drawdown is not automatically easier. Divide the target by the drawdown to get the edge each programme demands per unit of risk, and compare that number rather than either figure alone.

Price matters more than traders admit. Most people need more than one attempt. A cheaper evaluation is not merely cheaper - it changes the number of attempts your budget allows, which changes your probability of eventually being funded.

Verdict

Choose FundedNext if you want the wider two-step drawdown — 10% of the initial balance against FundedCore's 8% — or if you want the fastest reward cycle on a one-step account: FundedNext publishes performance rewards every 5 business days on Stellar 1-Step, which is quicker than FundedCore's 14-day cycle. Where a rival is more generous we say so, and on that specific point it is.

Choose FundedCore if you want fewer minimum trading days on the two-step, four against five, a first payout on the same 14-day cycle as every one after it rather than a 21-day wait, and a profit split that starts at up to 90% instead of 80%.

On the one-step the two firms are closer than anywhere else on this site: the same 10% target and the same 6% maximum loss, both fixed to the initial balance rather than trailing your equity high. FundedNext asks only two minimum trading days against FundedCore's four, but holds you to a 3% daily loss limit where FundedCore allows 5%. If your strategy takes several small losses inside one session, that daily limit is the figure that decides it.
